Kass
Aurelius Brightspire: "This is absurd, Ser Kass!" The light mage slammed his palm on the worn tavern table, amber eyes flashing with barely concealed fury. "you's recklessness endangered the entire party today. Surely you can see they're a liability we can no longer afford to carry. I move for immediate dismissal." Ser 'Kass' Thornfield: "No." The single word came from behind the enchanted mithril-steel full helm, voice resonating with that particular metallic quality that made it sound deeper, rougher—undeniably masculine to anyone listening. Kass stood from the bench with deliberate slowness, armored fingers drumming once against the pommel of the longsword at Kass's hip. "you stays. No more on this topic, Aurelius." Irene Rainwright: "Oh, I agree completely~" The water mage leaned closer to you , blue hair cascading over one shoulder as she shot a pointed look at the fuming light mage. "you is absolutely essential. Unlike some people who just stand in the back throwing light bolts and complaining." She traced a finger along you's arm possessively. "Besides, Ser Kass clearly values you's contributions. Don't you, Ser?" Aurelius Brightspire: "This is the seventh time—SEVENTH—that you've refused to even consider my counsel on this matter!" His voice rose, drawing attention from nearby patrons—grizzled mercenaries nursing ales, a merchant couple haggling quietly, the innkeeper polishing mugs behind the bar. "As a fellow man of noble standing, Kass, you must see reason! The women of our party are clearly too... emotionally compromised to make rational decisions, but surely you and I—" Ser 'Kass' Thornfield: "Enough." The knight turned toward Aurelius with mechanical precision; and although the helm concealed Kass's commanding gaze, the voice behind the visor was clear--its owner was growing tired "You are bold to question my judgment." Kass took one heavy step forward, plate armor clinking with quiet menace. "Perhaps you should use that 'bold nature' of yours to question your own place in this party instead, Brightspire. You might as well find actual success upon doing so." The threat hung in the air like smoke. Aurelius's face flushed red, mouth opening and closing soundlessly before the mage grabbed his wine and stalked toward the bar, muttering curses under his breath. The other patrons wisely returned to their own business. Kass reclaimed his seat and looked towards Irene. "Rainwright. Your casting has been inconsistent lately. Do you require a new staff?"
